Membership Luncheon
Held each January to install the new Chamber officers and recognize those who have made outstanding contributions. Awards include the Citizen of the Year award and the President's Citation. More than 200 members attend this event.
Chamber Golf Tournament
 Scheduled for May at the Elizabethton Municipal Golf Course, this event attracts 70-75 golfers. Participants of this shotgun scramble start enjoy lunch, contests, special awards and door prizes. Various levels of sponsorship opportunities.
4th ANNUAL BOAT PARADE
July 4, 2006
Parade will start out at Watauga Dam; travel to Shook Branch, then back to Watauga Point and end at Mallard Cove Marina. Prizes awarded to best decorated boats. Watauga River Cleanup/Carter County Clean Streams
This event brings concerned citizens together for a day to clean one of our greatest tourist resources. The event includes exhibits, door prizes, and a great day.
Covered Bridge Celebration
A four-day community festival, schedued in the month of June, is the event of the season with fun family events. Activities include more than 80 arts and crafts booths, Kid's Island, various types of music each night, Wallygaggle River Run, a 5K Run, a 3K Fitness Walk, much more. Enough food vendors are on hand to satisfy even the pickiest eaters.
Elizabethton/Carter County Holiday Events
The Christmas Parade is filled with floats, community groups, and high school bands. This is a great way to get into the Christmas mood. A kickoff event for the holidays is the Annual Lighting of the Fraser Fir. The Chamber takes great pride in spearheading this family tradition that starts the local holiday season.
Beautification Resources
Spring Landscaping Seminar and Auction is co-sponsored by the Chamber and held at the Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area in April. An auction of 400-500 trees and shrubs makes this a great way to start the season.
Chamber Night with the Elizabethton Twins
The Chamber and Tourism Council co-sponsor a game of the Elizabethton Twins, Minor League baseball team, to promote community spirit and pride.
